Prayers of the Pious (5): The Hand That Kills Me

A du`a’ can make even the most unlikely circumstances occur, such as in the case of Omar (may Allah be pleased with him) and his martyrdom.

“O Allah I ask you to be accepted as a martyr in the city of your Prophet.”

“O Allah, do not let my killing be at the hand of someone who ever prostrated to You, lest he use that against me on the Day of Judgment.”
