Many are the people who doubt the origin of the Qur’an, and ascribe it to Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) although both the Qur’an and Muhammad have constantly disclaimed this allegation. The Qur’an is not a trespass. It is as merituous and invaluable as that anyone will be keen to have the honor of ascribing it to him/herself. Yet, the incontrovertible facts and the matchless commandments mentioned in the Qur’an are enough for a person to claim the Qur’an for himself. However, the Qur’an states that it is a word of God not of Muhammad or anyone else, and if its presumed that Muhammad claimed it for himself, the Qur’an says,

And if Muhammad had made up about Us some [false] sayings, We would have seized him by the right hand; Then We would have cut from him the aorta. And there is no one of you who could prevent [Us] from him. And indeed, the Qur’an is a reminder for the righteous. (Al-Haqqah 69:44-48)

The Qur’an is divine. This is the absolute undeniable truth.

The Qur’an reads,

And certainly did We create man from an extract of clay. Then We placed him as a sperm-drop in a firm lodging. Then We made the sperm-drop into a clinging clot, and We made the clot into a lump [of flesh], and We made [from] the lump, bones, and We covered the bones with flesh; then We developed him into another creation. So blessed is Allah , the best of creators. (Mu’minun 23:14)
