Ramadan with the Qur’an – Day 11: Surat Al-A`la (Part 2 )

In this video, Ustadh Nouman Ali Khan explains Ayah 8 of Surat Al-A’la. Here Allah promises Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) to make things easy for him and give him the power to withstand the difficulties ahead.

The beauty of this ayah stems from the context in which it was revealed in the early years of the da’wah. When Muslims were being persecuted harshly by Quraish, the ayah was a premonition of pending relief. The universal message Allah is sending us, is that we will continue to face difficulties in life but that through our iman (faith), He will give us the ability to deal with them.
